ปลายยอดของสามเหลี่ยมวางตัวตรงกับอาทิตย์อุทัยในปรากฏการณ์วิษุวัต กลางวันยาวเท่ากับกลางคืน ปีละ 2 ครั้ง ได้แก่ “วสันตวิษุวัต” (Vernal Equinox) วันที่ 20 – 22 มีนาคม และ “ศารทวิษุวัต” (Autumnal Equinox) วันที่ 22 – 24 กันยายน
The Triangle of Time
A large, triangular rock formation sits atop Phu Pha Dang at an elevation of 480 meters. The apex of the triangle aligns with the sunrise during the equinox a phenomenon where day and night are of equal length occurring twice a year: the Vernal Equinox (March 20–22) and the Autumnal Equinox (September 22–24).
