Introduction
Astronomically speaking, it is once in a blue moon that solar eclipse and summer solstice are happening on the same day 21 June 2020. A rare type of solar eclipse will coincide with the longest day of the year this week, marking only the second time since 1982 that these astronomical events took place on the same day. The annular solar eclipse will see the Sun, Moon and Earth aligned on Sunday, 21 June, creating a spectacular effect for sky gazers to witness across large parts of the world. The next episode of solar eclipse and summer solstice will be 21 June 2039.
Some people in Thailand belived that solar eclipse is "omen and bad luck" so they will not go outside and many local businesses are closed. It reminds me of the 60's top hit rock "Bad Moon Rising" of The Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR)

A solar eclipse occurs when a portion of the Earth is engulfed in a shadow cast by the Moon which fully or partially blocks sunlight

Path of solar eclipse started in West Africa and moving east to India and southern China

The Nation one of Thailand TV Channels said some local businesses are closed to avoid bad luck due to solar eclipse, it is locally called "Suriya krad or Rahu eating Suriya"
Bad Moon Rising was one of the rock hit in 60's by a famous band called Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR)
As a fanclub of CCR I have this T-shirt of "Bad Moon Rising"
Welcome Summer Solstice 21 June 2020
If you are living in the northen hermisphere like Sakon Nakhon Province Thailand (latitude 17 N) it is the longest day, day-time will be as long as 13 hours and night-time is shorthen to 11 hours. Here we have an astronomically structure called "Solar Calendar" for tourist attraction at Nong Han Lake, it is designed to display sunrise on the 12 zodiacal events. You can enjoy sun-power on your "birth zodiac" by sitting at the seat marked with name of zodiac and then sun will rise exactly toward you

Summer solstice 21 June falls on Zodiac Cancer, there is a marking with the name "Cancer"
I place my hat on the seat of Zodiac Cancer

Sun rises exactly at the Zodiac Cancer where I place my hat
If your zodiac is Cancer here you are

This solar calendar at Prasat Phupek Sakon Nakhon located on the moutaintop +520 m above sea level shows 4 major astronomical events,
1.vernal equinox 21 March
2.summer solstice 21 - 22 June
3.autumnal equinox 23 September
4.winter solstice 21 - 22 December

Operation Rahu Episode XII
How far and how big is the sun
Prasat Phupek Sakon Nakhon Province Thailand

Prasat Phupek (ancient Khmer temple)
Question: why conduct this operation at Prasat Phupek (an ancient Khmer temple located on mountaintop 520 m above sea level)
Answer: This is the original place where I and my team conducted "Operation Eratosthenes 2012" to measure Earth's circumference by using angle of incident at solar noon on vernal equinox 21 March 2012 at Prasat Phupek Thailand and Prasat Bayon Cambodia
Operation Eratosthenes 2012 Prasat Phupek Thailand - Prasat Bayon Cambodia, Earth's diameter 12,234 Km

Eratosthenes was an Greek Astronomer 276 - 194 BC who calculated Earth's circumference
Before finding distance Earth - Sun you need to know 2 basic figures
"Earth's diameter and distance Earth - Moon"
Here I have Earth's diameter = 12,234 Km from Operation Eratosthenes 21 March 2012 and distance Earth - Moon = 377,506 Km from Operation Rahu Episode II 8 Oct 2014

Procedure to measure distance Earth - Sun starting from "Earth's diameter" then distance "Earth - Moon" and finally end up with the theory of angular diameter
Operation Rahu Episode II 8 Oct 2014 distance Earth - Moon 377,506 Km
After knowing Earth's diameter and Distance Earth - Moon then proceed to find out how far and how big is the sun with the following steps
1.Take picture of the solar eclipse at Prasat Phupek from 13:30 - 16:00 on 21 June 2020
Using the east-gate of Prasat Phupek as foreground

Solar eclipse took place at the western side of Prasat Phupek

Trick of taking picture of solar eclipse, you have to wait till the grey color cloud move into the sun to sevre as "light filter"
grey color cloud serve as "light filter"

Grey color cloud is the best as "light filter"
2.Draw a circle to fit the curvation of eclipse (with the help of PowerPoint application) here you got size of the moon
3.Move circle size of the moon to match with the sun, it fits just like hand in glove!. It means the appearing size of moon is equal to the appearing size of sun

Apply the same procedure with more nice pictures of solar eclipse from my friends in Chiangmai Province north of Thailand, Thank a lot to the two professional tour guides MS Nuanwan Hansanawin and MS Pom Dararat for their nice and clear pictures (of course looking at their wow cameras, no doubt why they are far better than my mobile phone pictures)

4.Apply theory of "Angular Diameter" to determine how far and how big of the sun
Sincery thanks to the ancient Greek Astronomer "Eratosthenes and Aristarchus of Samos" who first calculated Earth's circumference, distance Earth - Moon and Earth - Sun that inspired me to come up with a modernized digital tecnology called "The Rahu Equation"
With the help of "Angular Diameter" this is what I got
Distance of Earth - Sun = Distance of Earth - Moon x 400
= 377,506 x 400
= 151 Million Km
Sun's diameter = Moon's diameter x 400
= 3,495 x 400
= 1.4 Million Km

Comparing Operation Rahu Episode XII with the Google figures
Conclusion
The Operation Rahu Episode XII is a modified mathematics from the ancient Greek with the help of digital technology, hopefully it may be useful to those who love to learn something called out-of-the-box knowledge
